Trainees

Welcome to the Trainee page of the BAPM website

Your current Trainee Rep is Dr Katie Farmer, St Michael's Hospital, Bristol (Sept 14-Sept 17).

A welcome from your rep

"Hello! I am a Neonatal Grid trainee in Bristol completing training in 2017. I have been working with BAPM since 2014. I represent your views as trainee members at the Executive Committee meetings and am working to improve BAPM resources for trainees.
BAPM is leading the way Neonatology, forming guidance for practice and supporting excellence in Neonatal Care. As trainees, soon to be new Consultants, our role in this is vital and our views essential. There is a trainee member position on every working group, giving you opportunity to boost your broader experience and influence future practice"

There is now a reduced membership fee for trainees and as members we have reduced rates for all BAPM meetings by between 15-40%.

Look forward to other membership benefits including:

  • Research updates
  • Course calendar
  • Podcasts/webinars
  • More opportunities to join working groups
  • Better links to other members extending your professional network
