Birmingham Women's Hospital (BWH) Neonatal Department are fundraising for the Neonatal Unit in memory of Dr Vishna Rasiah.
The unit's JustGiving page says:
"Dr Vishna Rasiah, known affectionately as Vish, was a Consultant Neonatologist at Birmingham Women’s Hospital and was a well-respected, much-loved colleague and friend. He was also a loving husband to his wife Liza and father to their beautiful daughter Katelyn.
We are raising funds for the Neonatal Unit as Vish was incredibly passionate about the unit, and treating the babies who needed care there.
His skill and knowledge, particularly in treating cardiology conditions, ensured that hundreds, if not thousands, of babies are alive today because of him.
It’s heart-breaking that we have lost someone so talented, dedicated and respected as Vish. And his loss will not only be felt by his friends and colleagues at Birmingham Women’s Hospital, but also by many across the Midlands who worked alongside him for so long.
By raising funds in his memory, we will ensure that Vish’s legacy will live long at our hospital."
