BAPM is pleased to invite you to submit an abstract for display during the Spring Conference 2023.
Your abstract should outline a project aiming to improve the neonatal experience, provide an example of best practice or simply share learning from your unit with others at the conference.
What we're looking for
We welcome abstracts on:
- Improving Family Experience
Includes descriptions of projects or interventions with the aim of improving the neonatal experience for families. - Quality Improvement
Includes QI initiatives, service developments, QI literature synthesis and meta-analysis, innovation in healthcare, comparative effectiveness research. A stand-alone audit is considered to be of low significance unless it has generated change which on re-audit can be shown to have shown sustained improvement in care. - Case studies (series or report)
These describe instances of interesting phenomena. The goal is to make people aware of the possibility that this phenomenon might occur, and may include previously unknown or emerging pathologies, or complication of a therapy/intervention.
Abstract Submission Deadline: Tuesday 28 February 2023 at 11:59pm.
Members can gain access to our guide to ‘How to Submit an Abstract’.
About the Conference
This event is delivered by BAPM, NNA and APCP. It is aimed at an audience of paediatric and neonatal trainees at all levels of training, ANNPs and AHPs. We deliver the latest evidence on essential clinical topics as well as the chance for delegates to network and learn together.
Judging
Successful/unsuccessful abstracts will be announced the week commencing Monday 27 March 2023.
Every abstract will be peer-reviewed by reviewers and may be selected for oral presentation or poster presentation. Final presentation of accepted abstracts will require registration of at least one author for the 'Spring Conference: Learning as a team' brought to you by BAPM and the NNA, NDiG, RCOT, SLTs and ACPC (in-person or virtually depending on the successful abstract).
