BAPM writes to Foreign Secretary about support for new mothers and babies in Ukraine

Alongside the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health and the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists we have written to the Foreign Secretary in the UK following reports that hospitals and perinatal units are being bombed, with pregnant women forced to give birth in bomb shelters. We have called for a range of support for new mothers, babies and children including aid, support and access to humanitarian corridors so they can leave safely.
