We are delighted to announce that the abstract portal for the BAPM Annual Conference 2021 has been reopened for new submissions!

Participants are invited to submit new abstracts of original work for poster presentations during the virtual meeting by Monday 27 September 2021

The abstract must present timely findings which were not available at the time of the original abstract deadline (4 July 2021). The 'Late Abstract' deadline is not intended to be a second deadline for abstract submissions.

There are three categories of abstracts this year, please make sure you select the correct category.

  • Research (original research or secondary literature)
Includes meta-analyses, systematic reviews, randomised controlled trials, cohort or case:control studies, in vitro or animal research, observational research.
  • Quality Improvement
Includes QI initiatives, service developments, QI literature synthesis and meta-analysis, innovation in healthcare, comparative effectiveness research. A stand-alone audit is considered to be of low significance unless it has generated change which on re-audit can be shown to have a sustained improvement in care.
  • Case studies (series or report)
These describe instances of interesting phenomena. The goal is to make people aware of the possibility that this phenomenon might occur, and may include previously unknown or emerging pathologies, or complication of a therapy/intervention.

Deadline: is Monday 27 September 2021.
