Muhammad Ali

Consultant Neonatologist

Dr Ali is a consultant neonatologist at University Hospitals of Leicester, specializing in simulation, education, and neonatal hemodynamics.


Natalie Anders

Senior Network Educator / ANNP
NWNODN
Natalie joined the NWNODN as Senior Network Educator in March 2024 after a secondment in 2023. She worked on a service improvement project to develop a screening model for retinopathy of prematurity. With years of neonatal experience, she has an interest in research and recently completed an MSc module in Early Careers in Research. Natalie is also the nurse representative on the BAPM executive committee.


Ellie Atkins

Consultant Clinical Psychologist
London Neonatal Operational Delivery Network
Dr. Ellie Atkins is a consultant clinical psychologist and lead psychologist for the London Neonatal ODN. She has nearly 30 years of experience working with children, families, and neonatal staff, focusing on psychological support and developing psychologically-informed neonatal services.


Peter Bradley

Director of Services
Bliss
Peter is the Director of Services at Bliss, the leading neonatal charity in the UK. He oversees services supporting parents and carers, collaborates with neonatal healthcare professionals, and contributes to national committees including the Neonatal Delivery Board.


Elizabeth Brimyard

ST7 Neonatal Spin Trainee
UHB NHS Foundation Trust
Liz is an ST7 paediatric trainee working at Birmingham Heartlands Hospital. With a passion for both paediatrics and neonatology, she has spent 18 months gaining experience in tertiary NICUs and shares insights on maximizing the SPIN training experience.


Porus Bustani

Consultant Neonatologist
Sheffield Teaching Hospitals
Dr. Bustani works as a neonatal consultant in Sheffield, with an interest in ventilation and echocardiography.


Morag Campbell

Consultant Neonatologist
Royal Hospital for Children Glasgow
Dr. Campbell has over 20 years of experience in neonatal care. She has held leadership roles in both the UK and Canada and is involved in national recruitment and training for neonatal sub-specialty doctors. She is also a trustee of charitable organizations like Best Beginnings and Newborns Vietnam.


Sara Clarke

Lead Dietitian
West Midlands Perinatal Network and BAPM Executive Committee
Sara is the Lead Dietitian for the West Midlands Perinatal Network. She has developed feeding guidelines and advocates for neonatal dietetics as chair of the Neonatal Dietitian’s Interest Group. She also represents allied health professionals on the BAPM executive committee.


Mandy Clarkson

Consultant in Healthcare Public Health
NHS England - Midlands
Mandy leads a team of consultants providing advice and support in neonatal care and perinatal public health across the Midlands. With a background in community nursing and health protection, Mandy focuses on optimizing care and reducing inequalities in neonatal services.


Tamsyn Crane

Education Lead/ec Education and Wellbeing Lead
KSS Neonatal ODN/BAPM Executive Committee
Tamsyn, with 14 years in neonatal nursing and nine years in education, leads the Education team at KSS Neonatal ODN. She is also the BAPM Executive Committee’s staff education and wellbeing lead.


Harsha Gowda

Consultant Neonatologist
University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Trust
Dr. Gowda specializes in neonatal cardiology, echocardiography, POCUS, preterm stabilization, and genomics. He is the Training Programme Director for neonatal education in the West Midlands and organizes multiple neonatal workshops and study days.


Sumit Jagani

Consultant Paediatric and Interventional Radiologist
Nottingham University Hospital NHS Trust
Dr. Jagani is a consultant paediatric and interventional radiologist with interests in both diagnostic and non-vascular interventions. He completed his training in Nottingham and has also worked in Leicester, Sheffield, and Great Ormond Street.


Alice Kavati

Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner/PhD Student
University Hospitals of Leicester/University of Leicester
Alice is an ANNP at University Hospitals of Leicester and a part-time PhD student at the University of Leicester. She specializes in neonatal care, particularly in the areas of neonatal transport and end-of-life care. Her research focuses on early feeding methods and their impact on late preterm and early term babies.


Anna Moore

Involvement Programme Lead
Bliss
Anna Moore is the Involvement Programme Lead at Bliss. She ensures that the voices of parents and families are integral to the charity's work and advocates for equitable, family-integrated neonatal care.


Jessica Morgan

Consultant Neonatologist
Nottingham University Hospitals
Dr. Morgan has worked internationally in Uganda and Australia before becoming a neonatal consultant. She has a special interest in neonatal medicine and clinical leadership, having completed a fellowship in Clinical Leadership and Management.


Katherine Pettinger

ST7
Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust
Dr Pettinger is an ST7 neonatal grid trainee with a PhD in Health Sciences focused on diagnosing neurodevelopmental disorders in premature children. She is passionate about supporting trainees and encouraging students to explore neonatology.


Claire Rose

Consultant Neonatologist
Southmead Hospital, Bristol
Dr. Rose is a Consultant Neonatologist at Southmead Hospital in Bristol. She also leads the Neonatal PMRT and CDOP for North Bristol NHS Trust.


Kirsty Sayer

ST8 Neonatal Registrar
Leeds General Infirmary
Dr. Sayer is an ST8 neonatal registrar with a focus on leadership and training. She took a Leadership Fellowship in 2019 and is now pursuing her Neonatal Grid training at Leeds.


Shanthi Shanmugalingam

Consultant Neonatologist
Royal Free London (Barnet Hospital)
Dr. Shanmugalingam is a neonatal consultant and medical educator. She has led several improvement projects and serves as the deputy Director of Medical Education at the Royal Free London. She also plays a significant role in postgraduate education and the RCPCH neonatal SPIN lead.


Manoj Shenoy

Consultant Paediatric Urologist & Surgical Lead
Nottingham Children's Hospital at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust
Mr. Shenoy is a consultant paediatric urologist at Nottingham Children's Hospital with expertise in paediatric surgery. He has held various leadership roles, including President of the British Association of Paediatric Urologists, and has been involved in numerous national and international presentations and publications.
