This study day is aimed at Neonatologists, community & general paediatricians including trainees, AHPs, neonatal nurses, health visitors, GPs.

BANNFU is a multidisciplinary group which exists to improve the long term outcomes of all babies that have had neonatal care by disseminating best practice and improving care.   

About this event

This multi-professional study day will aim at exploring a range of topics related to the neurodevelopmental follow-up and outcomes of premature and sick newborn babies. Talks from expert speakers in a variety of disciplines including neonatology, community paediatrics, orthotics, physiotherapy and occupational therapy.

The overall aim of the day is to provide an update on neurodevelopment follow up and share good practice. To raise awareness about the skills that babies discharged from neonatal units need for school readiness and school entry, and to encourage liaison between health and educational services.
