The NBO is a flexible intervention designed to help parents understand their baby's unique behavior and communication cues, fostering a positive parent-infant relationship, promoting sensitive parenting, and supporting healthy development. The presentation will provide a detailed description of the NBO, its applications, and the research to date on its effectiveness. Our Speaker is Lise Johnson who is the Director of the Brazelton Institute at Boston Children’s Hospital and coauthor of the Newborn Behavioral Observations (NBO) system.
