A one-day virtual course providing the essential skills to perform and interpret neonatal cranial ultrasound scans on the neonatal unit.

This course will cover:

  • How to use an ultrasound scanner and get the best quality images.
  • Standard images and normal anatomy.
  • Germinal matrix and intraventricular haemorrhage.
  • Linear measurements of ventricular dilatation.
  • Preterm white matter abnormalities.
  • HIE and Doppler measurements.
  • Perinatal stroke.
