How to enter

Entrants should submit 500-1000 words (excluding references) on the topic of ‘A Student’s Experience of Neonatology'.

The Rules

  • Entrants must be a member of BAPM. (Membership is free for full-time undergraduate students. Join Here.)
  • The competition is open to anyone on a UK medical, midwifery, nursing or allied health professional related undergraduate study programme at the point of submission.
  • The competition is NOT open to post-graduate students.
  • Entries must be submitted in English using the correct form and be between 500 and 1000 words.
  • Entries close at 23:59 on the deadline date.
  • All entries must be the original work of the entrant without the use of the use of AI or chatbot systems such as ChatGPT and must not infringe the rights of any other party.
  • Entries should not include any personal patient details.
  • The winner will receive a winner's certificate as well as a free ticket to the BAPM Spring Conference, one night's accommodation in the BAPM organised conference hotel and up to £150 travel expenses.
  • The winning entry will be published on the BAPM website.
  • All entrants will get a certificate of participation and a feedback comment.
  • Prizes are non-transferable.
