A BAPM Framework for Practice
Family Integrated Care (FICare) is a model of neonatal care which promotes a culture of partnership between families and staff. This enables parents to become confident, knowledgeable and independent primary caregivers.
This BAPM framework describes a model of FICare and provides a structure for implementation in UK neonatal units and networks.
These resources have been suggested by BAPM members as complimentary to this framework. They have not been created or endorsed by BAPM.
